Christina (Tina) Elizabeth Evans.

March 8, 1932 – December 4, 2019 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Tina’s passing Wednesday, December 4 in Vernon, BC. As well as a beloved mother to Merle (Ken), Pam (Dave), Parry and Cathy, she was a dear grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She is predeceased by Albert, her husband of 50 years.

Tina grew up, married and raised her children in and around MacKay, Alberta. She and Albert moved to Parksville, Vancouver Island and later to the Vernon, BC area. Tina was generous, caring, kind and hard working. She was welcoming and always enjoyed hosting family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

 Though we need to weep your loss,

you dwell in that safe place in our hearts,

Where no storm or night or pain can reach you.

Let us not look for you only in memory,

Where we would grow lonely without you.

You would want us to find you in presence,

Beside us when beauty brightens,

When kindness glows And music echoes eternal tones.
