Brian John Neville, 77, of Vernon B.C., died February 3, 2023.
Brian was an only child, born August 10, 1945 to John Albert and Eileen Neville in Vancouver, BC.
Brian lived the majority of his life in greater Vancouver, marrying Susan Cole April 1st,1972. Brian & Sue have 1 child, their daughter Carrie Lynn. Brian was a loyal and devoted husband to Sue for almost 51 years.
Brian was an intelligent and creative man, working in Construction as a tile setter for over 45 years. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed the outdoors and hunted for ducks and geese. Brian was a part of the BC Custom Car Association in his youth and remained passionate about cars, customizing, and puttering on over 40 vehicles in his life. Brian enjoyed many sports playing hockey in his younger days, hiking and camping, and falling in love with golf in the mid 1970’s. Brian and Sue were competitive amateur golfers up until 2010, playing for fun during retirement another 10 years until sore bodies and COVID prevailed.
Brian is survived by his loving wife Susan, daughter Carrie Lynn, Son in Law Stephen Morrison, and 2 grandsons Liam & Cole Barber.
It was Brian’s wish to be cremated, and a small celebration of life will be at either a golf course or a classic car show in the future.
In lieu of flowers, Brian would want donations made to Dementia & Alzheimer’s research, the disease that now afflicts his beloved Sue.
