Anton Henry Schneider

Anton Henry Schneider, 95, of Vernon, BC, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2023.
He was born on January 19, 1928 to William and Elizabeth Schneider is Scott, Saskatchewan. In 1950, he met and married Theresa Danderfer and they went on to have six children.
He spent most of his life as a logger in Northern BC, then retired with Theresa in Vernon. He was very instrumental in the building of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Coldstream. He was an extremely dedicated and loyal supporter of his church, faith and his love of God was apparent in everything he did. He has impacted many people by his unwavering sense of what is right and just. The Northern Okanagan Hospice was near and dear to his heart with the care and love they provided during his final days.
Anton was predeceased by his wife Theresa, and his sons, Donald and Randolph. He is survived by his sister Frances (Roy), sons Tom, Les (Shelley) and his daughters, Joan (Rick), and Carol (Ron), daughter-in-law Bev, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held for Anton at Our Lady of The Valley Catholic Church on April 24th, 2023 at 1:00pm.
