Anita Dyck, age 74, passed away peacefully on the morning of October 8th.
Born in Osnabrück, Germany, Anita was the oldest of four children. She married Richard in March 1971 and was a devoted wife and mother. Anita cherished her family and took great joy in hosting family gatherings. She had a passion for traveling, music, and volunteering, and was skilled in knitting and needlework crafts. Known for her generous heart, sharp sense of humor, and a spark of mischief, she touched the lives of everyone around her.
Anita is predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Therese, and her younger sister, Lily. She is survived by her children, Louise (Richard) and Allan (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Jamie, Carley, Evan, and Julia; her sisters, Elly and Rita; and her extended family.
The family expresses deep gratitude to Interior Health Home Care and the wonderful staff at Noric House for their compassionate and loving care.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 27th in Vernon. For details, please contact a family member. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Upper Room Mission in Vernon.
