Tonight Molly, AJ, Emanuel, Brooke, and Sarah were at Kal Tire place for their 6 pm game and final regular season game as they take on the Trail Smoke Eaters. Tonight the Vipers host their final regular season game before they head off to Playoffs March 17th and 18th, both home games! Courtesy of Hytect, Kiss Fm and the Morning Star, round 2 of the Playoffs (Saturdays game) children and students get in FREE! Big props to the sponsors above for making this happen and giving kids the opportunity to fill up the arena and enjoy a great hockey game! As for adults, both Friday’s and Saturday’s games cost $16 for adults and $14 for seniors. Season ticket holders have up until 12 noon the day of the game to claim their tickets unless otherwise sold to the general public. Tonight your Vernon Vipers took the victory of their final season game against Trail with a score of 7-1.
During the first intermission, June was the lucky contestant who had the opportunity to win a new car with a shot on goal. Unfortunately, she missed but still walked away with a gift basket.
Tonight was also the Vernon Vipers Awards Banquet. Vipers took home awards such as MVP (Darion Hanson), Top Defenseman (Michael Ufberg), and Most Popular Player (Riley Brandt). The winners of the Jerseys Off Their Backs silent auction also got to take home their jerseys after tonights game.
Although things at Kal Tire place will be a bit quiet within the next couple weeks, your Vernon Vipers kick off an exciting Playoff weekend in March in your hometown that you cannot miss out on!
