2018 JCI Valley Food Drive

Today Aly and Brendan from your Beach Radio Events Crew joined JCI Vernon for the 2018 JCI Valley Food Drive.

The Event went very smoothly and we had tons of people donate their non-perishables as well as cash donations. JCI supplied donators with freshly cooked hot dogs which everyone seemed to enjoy! Shoppers going into Save On Foods were asked if they would buy any of the most needed items for the Salvation Army and lots of the community responded and helped out with that task. JCI ended up filling two bins of items and there will be some very happy people who are in need of these things. All in all, despite it being slightly cold and cloudy, the happy atmosphere and warm attitude brought by the people of Salvation Army and JCI helped make this a great event.
