Okanagan Rink Perfect At BC Playdowns

Vernon’s Mark Longworth lost 9-8 to Victoria’s Wes Craig Thursday night at the BC Men’s Provincial curling championships in Abbotsford and was eliminated.

The Vernon team lost all 3 games they played.

The Vernon/Kelowna rink featuring John Morris and Jim Cotter, the defending BC champs, won the A-event with a 9-0 wipeout over Sean Geall of Kelowna.

Morris is first to qualify for playoffs

Their next next game is Saturday at 2 pm.

The final will be on Sunday.
