RDNO Maps Out Priorities

Jan 4, 2018 | 3:14 PM

RDNO Board Chair Bob Fleming hopes to sit down with board members to get an idea about what needs to be done this year.

They did that last year and feel it worked out well as the year progressed.

He wants to see what kind of a guideline they can put together.

“That is a priorities session with the entire board to be able to kind of go over what each of the members feel are the priorities for their own purposes and what they feel board priorities should be so we can consider those collectively.”

Fleming hopes to have a meeting in the first half of February.

High on the list is likely to be repairing the BX Creek Trail.

Fleming says the district is aware of damage caused by flooding and dangerous trees that need to be looked at.

“The municipal insurance authority sent somebody out in the fall at our request to do some danger liability assessments and I think we have those reports now.”

Fleming says there is a goal to do some serious work and put in place a process to be more on top of problems as they occur.
