Update: Charges Laid In Kelowna Murders

A Kelowna man charged with killing his wife and two young daughters will return to court Jan 18th.

34 year old Jacob Forman has been remanded in custody, facing three counts of second degree murder after 3 bodies were found in a home on Bolotzky Court in Rutland Tuesday.

Forman used to live in Armstrong, and a former plumbing co-worker who used to car pool with him told the media he was shocked to see Forman was the suspect, saying he seemed like a good family man.

More information is coming to light about a triple murder investigation in Kelowna.

34 year old Jacob Forman has been charged with three counts of second degree murder, with the victims said to be his wife and two young daughters.

Three bodies were found at a home on Bolotzky Court in Rutland Tuesday.

Forman works for a plumbing company, while his wife Clara was a fitness instructor.

The three victims are alleged to have been killed by Forman sometime between last Saturday and Tuesday.

Neighbours tell media, Forman, his wife, and their daughters Karina and Yesenia mostly kept to themselves.

RCMP Cst. Lesley Smith says no further information will be released as the case is before the courts.

“RCMP are continuing their efforts to locate and notify the immediate family members of these victims of this tragic investigation” states Cst. Lesley Smith Kelowna RCMP “Police are asking the media and public to respect the family at this difficult time while officers work to ensure the next of kin have been notified.”

Police have not confirmed the three victims are family members of the accused.

A 34 year old Kelowna man is due back in court this afternoon in connection with a triple murder in the Rutland area of Kelowna.

Three bodies were found in a home late Tuesday evening.

They are believed those of a mother and her two daughters.

RCMP have not released details.

But the provincial court online registry shows Jacob Forman was charged last evening with three murders that occurred on December 17th.

Neighbours of the home identified Forman as the occupant along with his wife and 2 daughters.
