Update: Cyclist Hit At Vernon Intersection

UPDATE: 9:55 am:

RCMP say Highway 6-27th Street intersection has now been cleared  after a vehicle hit a cyclist around 7 am this morning.

No details about the incident have been provided so far.

North Okanagan RCMP are currently on the scene an accident between a vehicle and a cyclist at Highway 6 and 27th Street, near Polson Park.

Traffic is being affected by this incident and motorists are encouraged to chose another route for their morning commute.

Vernon RCMP are reminding motorists, to use caution and allow for extra travel time given the icy road conditions.
