Lavington Air Quality Advisory LIFTED.
The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, in collaboration with the Interior Health Authority, has ended the Air Quality Advisory issued on December 15 for Lavington due to the high concentrations of fine particulates.
Changing weather conditions are expected to further improve air quality over the next few days.

• Fine particulate (PM2.5) concentrations have been decreasing, and are currently below advisory levels. Latest PM2.5 measurements at the Lavington Baptist Church station indicate an hourly average of 8.2 micrograms per cubic metre. The average for the past 24 hours is 8.4 micrograms per cubic metre, which is less than the provincial air quality objective of 25 micrograms per cubic metre.
