Time Magazine Names Person of the Year; Movement of the Year

Time Magazine’s Person of the Year for 2017 is a movement and not an individual.

The New York Times summarizes as first it was a story.  Then a moment.  Now, two months after women began to come forward in droves to accuse powerful men of sexual harassment and assault…it is a movement.

The anti-harassment ‘MeToo’ movement that arose from revelations of sexual harassment, misconduct and assault involving Harvey Weinstein and other men is the focus of the annual award.

Millions of women on social media, have used the hashtag ‘MeToo’ to share their stories in the past few months.
