Update: Missing Man Found

A Vernon man who was reported missing on Monday has been located.

“The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP is pleased to confirm that the 53 year old man reported missing has been located, and he is safe and sound. Thanks to the media and public for your assistance,” says Cst Kelly Brett.

Robert Long was last seen on November 8.

RCMP is seeking public assistance to help find a missing Vernon man.

“There is nothing to indicate foul play at this time and police believe he was dropped off by a friend in the Vernon area. Since Robert’s disappearance, police have followed up on several leads and possible sightings, however Robert remains missing,” says Cst. Kelly Brett.

Police are very concerned for Robert’s health and well-being and family report that it is out of character for him to be out of contact for this long.

Description of Robert Long:

· Caucasian male;
· 53 years;
· 5 ft 11 in (180 cm);
· 170 lbs (77 kg);
· greying hair;
· blue eyes ;
