Injured Flag Person Update
A flag person hit by a vehicle earlier this month is still not showing signs of recovery.
RCMP Cst. Kelly Brett says the 66 year old woman remains in critical condition in hospital with head injuries.
“I thin at this point they are just waiting for family to arrive to make some key decision, and as far as the investigation, it’s still ongoing,” says Brett.
Brett says the 75 year old male driver could face criminal or Motor Vehicle Act charges, depending on the outcome of the investigation .
The flag person was hit on Highway 6 Nov. 17th in Lavington
About 80 traffic control people lined the highway south of Vernon Saturday in an event to show their support for the victim, and to create awareness about safety issues for drivers.
