Liberal Candidate To Stop In Vernon

One of the BC Liberal leadership candidates will be making a stop in Vernon as part of an Interior tour.

Dianne Watts will hold a meet and greet at Sir Winston’s Pub from 6:30 to 7:30 Wednesday night.

Watts will also stop in Salmon Arm at Chestor’s House of Cinnamon at 1 pm Wednesday, and at Conversation Coffee House in Revelstoke tonight at 6 pm.

She will also be meeting with officials and business leaders to talk about issues of concern.

Watts is a former mayor of Surrey, and former Conservative MP for South Surrey-White Rock.

She is one of six candidates in the race for BC Liberal leader which will be decided by party members Feb. 3.
