Premier to speak in Penticton as Bald Creek wildfire continues

Premier David Eby is scheduled to speak in Penticton this afternoon as the province continues responding to the Bald Range wildfire near Summerland.

Eby will hold a media availability with local officials at Penticton Council Chambers at 3:15 p.m.

Emergency Management and Climate Readiness Minister Kelly Greene and Penticton-Summerland MLA Amelia Boultbee are also expected to attend.

The Bald Range wildfire has forced thousands of people from their homes and continues to burn out of control in the South Okanagan.
