Search crews are continuing efforts to locate a missing Kelowna man in the Lake Country area. Kelowna RCMP say members of Central Okanagan Search and Rescue resumed searching Friday morning between Pelmewash Parkway and Spion Kop Mountain after a vehicle linked to the missing man was found nearby. Thirty-two-year-old Mitchell Gowing was last seen June 9 at his workplace in the 1500 block of Harvey Avenue. Police say his disappearance is considered out of character and was reported by concerned family members. RCMP are asking the public to avoid the search area to allow crews to work safely and efficiently. Gowing is described as five-foot-seven, 146 pounds, with reddish-blond hair that is mostly shaved, a beard of the same colour and blue eyes. Search crews are continuing efforts to locate a missing Kelowna man in the Lake Country area.

Kelowna RCMP say members of Central Okanagan Search and Rescue resumed searching Friday morning between Pelmewash Parkway and Spion Kop Mountain after a vehicle linked to the missing man was found nearby.
