Vernonites asked for input on ALC programming
Vernon residents are being asked to share their ideas and input on recreation programming offered at the new Active Living Centre (ALC).
The new recreation facility is slated to open in the fall, and the city wants to gather community feedback that would help guide programs and services to ensure they reflect the interests and needs of Vernon and area citizens.
“The Active Living Centre will offer a wide range of programs for all ages and abilities,” the city said in a media release.
“This phase of engagement focuses on gathering input on the types of programs and services residents would like to see when the facility opens and in the years ahead. Input gathered will help inform program planning and service delivery as the project progresses.”
