RDCO brings in stricter water measures early

Due to dry conditions and increased seasonal water demand, the Regional District of Central Okanagan is implementing Stage 2 outdoor watering restrictions effective immediately for three community water systems.

This measure is about a month ahead of normal.

Star Place, Falcon Ridge and Sunset Ranch will be limited to two days of watering per week, and the days depend on if you’re an odd or even numbered home.

The RDCO will monitor the Killiney Beach, Upper Fintry / Shalal Road / Valley of the Sun and Westshore Estates water systems to see if they too may need to move to Stage 2 restrictions ahead of the normal schedule.
