Sun Valley Cruise-In 2017

AJ, Greg, and Molly from your KISS FM Events Crew soaked up the sun today at the Sun Valley Cruise-In.

A record-breaking collection of over 500 modern muscle cars, motorcycles, trucks and classic cars were on display from 10-3 today in Polson Park. Prizes ranged from $500 cash to custom mini fridges and even to a brand new set of wheels from Kal Tire!

Local vendors and food trucks were busy keeping people shopping and eating while they checked out all the rare collectible cars. Women from Vernon, Lake Country, and even Edmonton competed in the 1st annual “Viva Las Vernon” Pin-Up Girl Contest- with a guest appearance from Elvis! Poppa Dawg and his band played blues tunes everyone could dance and sing a long to!

We were on location playing 107.5 Vernon’s Best Music and handing out SunRype. Lucky listeners also stopped by and picked up their Summer of Savings Coupon Books. KISS FM’s very own Frank Martina emceed and announced prizes and awards shortly before 3.

Throughout the day, KISS listeners also had the chance to help judge for our KISS FM Listeners Choice Award! Listener’s voted a 1925 Ford Model T Depot Hack as this years lucky recipient.
