Discounted trees for Kelowna residents

Mar 31, 2026 | 5:44 PM

It’s that time of year when Kelowna residents can buy highly discounted trees to help beautify their neighborhood.

The popular NeighbourWoods program returns on April 7, providing residents an opportunity to get up to two new trees for their yard.

The City said in a media release that eight varieties are being offered which include: Bur Oak; Curb Appeal® Linden; Ginkgo; Hackberry; Hot Wings® Tatarian Maple; Ivory Silk Tree Lilac (limit one per household); Parkland Pillar Birch; and Sugar Maple. Kelowna residents can purchase up to two trees per household at a discounted rate of $50 + GST per tree.

Trees will be available for pre-order starting April 7 at 8 a.m. until April 29, or until they are sold out. The first 100 people to place an order will receive a free gator bag. These easy-to-use, slow-release watering bags help ensure newly planted trees get the steady moisture they need to grow strong and healthy.
