Kelowna police seek suspect vehicle after recent violent death

Kelowna RCMP have released an image associated with their investigation into the death of an 18-year-old man last month near Springfield Road and Benvoulin Court.

The victim died from injuries after what police called a targeted assault on Saturday Jan. 24. The incident happened around 8:20 p.m.

The image appears to show a dark-coloured station wagon and police hope anyone with dash cam or security camera footage will come forward with information.

The area of interest is extensive: from Benvoulin Court and Springfield all the way to West Kelowna from 7 p.m. till midnight on Jan. 24.
