‘Violent’ wanted man arrested

A man who was subject of a public warning has been apprehended.

In late January, Vernon RCMP asked people to be on the lookout for 39-year-old Brandon Wilson, who was wanted on a number of firearms charges.

Police warned that Wilson was considered violent and should not be approached.

RCMP told Vernon Matters that Wilson has since been located and arrested, though that arrest took place in another jurisdiction.
