Zetterlund’s late goal leads Senators to 4-3 victory over Capitals
OTTAWA — Fabian Zetterlund’s 10th goal of the season proved to be a big one as the Ottawa Senators beat the Washington Capitals 4-3 Thursday afternoon.
Zetterlund scored with less than two and a half minutes remaining in regulation when he fired a shot short side past Capitals goaltender Logan Thompson.
His goal came less than two minutes after Washington’s Aliaksei Protas tied the game at 3-3.
