It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Marge Foisy on Oct 24, 2025. A beloved wife, mother, sister, grandma, aunt, and friend, and much more – she left us far too soon but lived her life to the fullest in the time she had. The life she was handed was not the easiest, but she did not waste a second of it and always had open arms, an open heart, and an open door for everyone she met. Her love was contagious and her spirit inspiring, and you could always count on Marge for a laugh, a story, an adventure, and a great meal. Whether you were related or not, after visiting you were considered family, and she made sure you knew it.

Marge is survived by her husband Wayne with whom she shared 46 years of marriage and her three children: Astra (Steve), Rylan, and Kaylin (Jim). She is also survived by her daughter Candice (Peter) and her many grandchildren who meant everything to her and whom she loved more than the world is big.

She will be remembered for her love of animals (except snakes), her amazing Scrabble and Crib skills, her horrible joke telling abilities, her highly questionable taste in movies, her openness to others, and her strength to go through so many hard things while still choosing happiness and love.

We’d like to extend our deepest gratitude to the kind staff of Vernon Jubilee Hospital for all the care they provided for not just Mom, but our entire family in her final days.

There will be a celebration of life at the Cherryville Community Hall on November 22, 2025, at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Cherryville Food Bank.
