It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved sister and auntie.  Mary was born at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on December 17, 1966, to Peter and Catharina Kroft. She grew up on the family farm in Lavington, the third child in a family of four. Mary attended My School and from there went to Venture Training for most of her adult life.  She was an active participant with the Friday night bowling league as well as the Special Olympics swim team.  She loved music and could often be heard singing along to her favorite songs.  Mary was always happy and made many friends wherever she went. She always made sure to tell you when her birthday was and how old she was going to be!

The family would like to express their gratitude to Jeremy and Donna, Mary’s caregivers for many years. During her final years Mary lived at Mulberry Place where the care given to her was exceptional.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Catharina.   She is survived by her sister Betty (Gord) and brothers Len (Bernadette) and John (Treasure) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Valley Church with burial to follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery.
