Here are the people making up Mark Carney’s new Liberal cabinet
It only took about an hour for Justin Trudeau to resign and Mark Carney to take his place as prime minister.
Carney was sworn in at Rideau Hall in Ottawa Friday morning after winning last weekend’s Liberal leadership with 86 per cent of the votes.
He also unveiled his Cabinet, with members of the core team in charge of handling Canada-U-S relations since Donald Trump returned to the White House staying in place.
A general election is expected to be launched before March 24th, the date when Parliament is set to resume.
