Sexual assault retrial decision reserved, future court date will be scheduled

A Coldstream man accused of sexually assaulting an underage girl while he was her hockey coach has to wait to hear the retrial decision.

Keith Chase was in B.C. Supreme Court in Vernon Friday, Nov. 29, for closing submissions in the retrial of one count of sexual assault.

The B.C. Prosecution Service said the judge in the retrial reserved their decision Friday.

Chase will be due back in court on Dec. 9 to schedule a date for the court to give it’s decision.
