SilverStar’s cross country runs to open in 10 days, alpine skiing opens a week later

SilverStar Mountain Resort will be welcoming back cross country skiers in just over a week, with the alpine runs opening a short time after that.
The ski resort outside Vernon has set its tentative opening date for the nordic trails for Friday, Nov. 22.
SilverStar plans to open the alpine runs for skiers and snowboarders a week later, on Friday, Nov. 29.
SilverStar Mountain Resort said in a release that “there’s snow on the ground with more in the forecast,” though, as of Tuesday, Nov. 12, the resort had not started providing snow reports.
