Accused in child death case expected to plead guilty

A woman charged in the death of a child in Lumby is expected to submit a guilty plea.
Keisha McCre is facing a charge of Failure to Provide Necessities of Life in connection with a death of a child in 2020.
The B.C. Prosection Service said McCrea was in Vernon court Wednesday, Oct. 30, and was ranted an adjournment with the expectation she would submit a guilty plea.
McCrea is due back in court on Nov. 21, 2024.
