School District 22 facing vacancies as class sizes grow

The class sizes in Greater Vernon continued to grow this year.

A report to School District 22’s (SD22) Board of Education showed year-over-year growth to the class sizes, after seeing class sizes mostly fall the previous year.

The report added there were some staff vacancies that have proven difficult to fill.

SD22’s report stated it was in need of a District Educational Psychologist, noting two interns were hired to assist with providing these services.
