Vernon’s RV sani-dump to close for the season Monday

It’s the last chance to empty the RV waste tanks.

The City of Vernon will close it’s sani-dump station for the season Monday, Oct. 21.

The site, located at 6401 Tronson Road across from the Vernon Regional Airport, has four waste dumping and water filling stations, and can be used through the weekend leading up to the closure.

The site can accomodate approximately 14 vehicles at a time if drivers follow the stacking distance recommendations.

The City of Vernon reminds station-users that it has one-way access and to approach the station from the direction coming away from the downtown core.

Garbage service is not available at the station and people are reminded to pack their trash out with them.

The cost to use the facility is $4, which can be paid in cash at the deposit box or through the HotSpot app.
