Early voting for the provincial election opens Thursday

People can start casting their ballots for the 2024 Provincial General Election starting this week.

Early voting for the election opens Thursday, Oct. 10, and will be offered until Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Locally, people can cast their early ballots at several different sites during that period.

Vernon-Lumby

  • Kal Tire Place: Oct. 10-13 and Oct. 15 and 16
  • Peace Lutheran Church: Oct. 15 and 16
  • Schubert Cente: Oct. 10-13
  • St. John’s Lutheran Church: Oct. 10 and 11
  • Whitevalley Community Centre: Oct. 12, 13, 15, and 16

Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream:

  • Coldstream Community Hall: Oct. 10, 15 and 16
  • Okanagan Centre Hall: Oct. 15 and 16
  • Rutland Centennial Hall: Oct. 10-13, and Oct. 15 and 16
  • UBCO Centre Ballroom: Oct. 10-13
  • Winfield Memorial Hall: Oct.10-13, and Oct. 15 and 16

Advance voting is an option for all eligible voters in the province, and each voting place is wheelchair accessible.

General voting day will happen Oct. 19
