Online applications open for Vernon Council Grants

Groups and organizations looking to launch projects may be able to access some funding from the city.

The City of Vernon opened the fall 2024 intake for the Council Discretionary Grant program Tuesday, Oct. 1.

The funds are available for non-profits and registered societies that contribute to the public’s interests and quality of life.

In order to be eligible for the grants, applicants must be community based; provide a unique service; and have not applied for another Council Discretionary grant within the calendar year.

Applications can only be submitted online this year, and the city will no longer accept paper applications. Submissions can be made through the city’s online portal. The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. Oct. 31.
