The leader of the Conservative Party of B.C.’s campaign trail will bring him to the Okanagan.

John Rustad is scheduled to make stops in Vernon and Kelowna Saturday, Oct. 5.

He will first visit Vernon, where Rustad will hold a meet and greet with local candidate Dennis Giesbrecht at the campaign office at 5405 26 Street.

The meet and greet will go from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m., and after that the leader will join the local candidate to go knock on doors.

Following the campaigning in Vernon, Rustad will travel to Kelowna, where he will host another meet and greet at the Ancient Hill Winery, 4918 Anderson Road starting at 4 p.m.

Both meet and greets will be open to the public, though the one in Kelowna has limited space so anyone interested in attending can register here.
