Final phase of 30th Ave. repaving begins Monday

The City of Vernon’s multi-phase paving project in the downtown core will be wrapping up before the end of the month.

The final step in the three-phase project began on Monday.

It will see 30th Avenue paved between 32nd and 33rd Streets, with the city stating it should take a week to complete, weather permitting.

Vehicle traffic will remain restricted during the final phase of the project, though sidewalk and pedestrian access will be maintained to ensure people can access area businesses.
