Richard "Rick" Childerhose

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Rick Childerhose. Rick left us suddenly on June 28^th at the age of 75 but not before shooting one of his best golf games with his beloved wife Helena.  Rick left behind his wife Helena and 4 children and 5 grandchildren.  His daughter Celeste Pennington (Dave) grandkids Rowan and Brennan, son Brooke Childerhose (Karli) grandkids Maverick and Denver, son Oak Peterson and youngest son Cole Peterson (Kristy) grandchild Blake.  He is also leaving behind his sister Susan and nephew Chris amongst many other family and friends.  Predeceased by his parents Rick and Marg.

Rick lived a full life, with lots of adventure, travel and sports.  He dedicated his work life to the Ministry of Children and Families, and truly loved the classes he taught at UBCO. His retirement was full of golf, softball, traveling, and camping. His ability to approach every situation with a positive attitude was truly amazing, and his sense of humour was o.k.  We are all remembering the admirable man he was and his dedication to those he loved.
