Kelowna RCMP searching for person of interest in sexual assault case

Mounties in Kelowna are looking to speak with a person of interest in relation to an ongoing stranger sexual assault investigation.
Kelowna RCMP said the individual, an adult male, was allegedly involved in an incident that took place in the 200 block of Sheppard Rd. in the Rutland area at approximately 11 p.m. Friday, May 10.
Police said the man interacted with several other people at a business in the 100 block of Highway 33 following the incident.
The person of interest is described as a South Asian male with a slim build, brown eyes, and standing between 5’10 and 6′ tall. At the time of the incident the man had a silver earring in his right ear and was wearing a gold chain, black tank top, beige shoes and Jordan sneakers.
