Carole Carney

Carole Katherine Carney (nee Quinn), 77, formerly of Edmonton, AB, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2024, in Vernon, BC.
She was born on December 26, 1946, in Vegreville, AB to Eileen and James Quinn. Carole is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Michael Carney.
Carole loved her husband, children, and grandchildren immensely. She will always be remembered by her children, Tracey (Terry) Curtis, Joel (Daphne) Carney, and Greg (Marcie) Carney; her grandchildren, Emily Curtis, Marcus Carney, and Olivia Carney; and her siblings, Jeanette Hutchinson and Robert Stepchuk.
Carole is predeceased by her parents; her siblings, Joyce Lesnik and Bernard Quinn; and her very best friends, her dogs Cookie and Petey.
In lieu of a funeral service, a celebration of life will be planned at a later date, where family and friends will be invited to share funny stories and fond memories.
Should you feel inclined, memorial donations may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in lieu of flowers.
