RDNO announces water shut off and street closure

The Regional District of North Okanagan is advising residents that Francis Street will be closed this coming Monday (April 8) to allow crews to work on a water main in that area

A detour will be set up to use East Vernon Road.

To accommodate the tie-in to the water main, customers highlighted on the map here (and below) will be without water on Monday, April 8 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Once water has been restored, residents may experience some cloudiness and/or air in the water.

“Please run a cold water tap until the water has cleared. An outside tap is preferred,” RDNO stated.
