Yard waste drop-off at transfer site cancelled for 2024

Coldstream residents won’t be able to use the transfer station on Middleton Drive to drop off their yard waste this year.

The municipality said due to the work on the new public works buildings, much of the transfer station site is being used as a temporary works yards.

As a result, the space is not available for a yard waste depot in 2024.

“The District of Coldstream understands this is a valued service to the community and put in every effort to accommodate both uses. Ultimately, this was not achievable,” a district news release stated.
