Vipers to show their skills at BCHL event

Two members of the Vernon Vipers will be part of the BC Hockey League’s skills competition in Penticton this weekend

The event kicks off the BCHL’s outdoor events on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 12 p.m.

Two players from each conference will participate in four different skill drills, with all players participating in the breakaway relay to finish the event.

The Vipers leading point-getter, Owen Kim, will be in the agility/passing competition while goalie Ethan David will be in the breakaway relay event.

Fastest Skater

  • Felix Caron (West Kelowna)

  • Cole Melady (Coquitlam)
  • Adam Parsons (Trail)

Agility/Passing

  • Tristan Allen (Salmon Arm)
  • Owen Kim (Vernon)
  • Vitaly Levyy (Langley)
  • Brett Merner (Nanaimo)

Hardest Shot

  • Donovan Frias (Cranbrook)
  • Nathan King (Victoria)
  • Connor MacPherson (Penticton)
  • Brady Milburn (Chilliwack)

Accuracy Shooting

  • Callum Arnott (Penticton)
  • Caden Cranston (Surrey)
  • Michael Felsing (Merritt)
  • Matthew Swanson (Cowichan Valley)

Breakaway Relay Goalie Competition

  • Ethan David (Vernon)
