Home is where the wins are: Vipers rack up two W’s at Kal Tire Place
The Vernon Vipers used home ice to their advantage with two wins this weekend at Kal Tire Place.
Captain Connor Elliott’s goal midway through the second period lifted the Vipers to a 3-2 win over the Trail Smoke Eaters Saturday night before 2,525 fans.
Nick Mikan and Payton Struck also scored for Vernon who improved to 19-11-1-0. Their 39 points puts them in fourth place in Interior Conference.
Ethan David allowed a Trail goal just 34 seconds into the contest, but overall, made 19 saves for his 13th win of the season in net.
