B.C. police chiefs donate to group that helps kids
Police leaders in British Columbia are providing support to an organization that offers vital services to children and families in crisis.
The BC Association of Chiefs of Police has donated $5,000 to Cops for Kids, a charitable foundation that helps children who have experienced medical, physical, or traumatic crises.
Fiona Wilson, the president of the BC Association of Chiefs of Police, said the organization embodies a police leader’s dedication to nurturing safer, healthier communities beyond the call of duty.
“Our commitment to public service extends beyond law enforcement; it’s about fostering a supportive community where every family receives the help they need in challenging times,” Wilson said.
