Vernon Vipers goalie commits to Division 1 U.S. school
The Vernon Vipers have announced that goaltender Ethan David has committed to the Rochester Institute of Technology for next season.
David, a Vancouver product, 12 wins, 6 losses and two shutouts this season, his third with the BC Hockey League team.
“Ethan came in as a first year goalie and has matured as a person and goaltender over the last three years to where he is an elite starting goaltender in the BCHL,” Vipers head coach and GM Jason McKee said. “Ethan will be ready for the challenges of college hockey next season and we look forward to watching his continued development at that level and beyond.”
David, who will turn 20 on Dec. 17, has suited up for 76 games for the Vipers, both regular season and playoffs.
