Roy Popham passed away peacefully at home to join his wife of 71 years, Mavis Popham, in heaven.

He was born on July 30, 1931 in Lethbridge, Alberta to Marvin and Matilda Popham. He is survived by his children, Mindee (Alex) Mirhady and Rhonda (Jim) Bennetto; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Ian) James, Michael (Manpreet) Mirhady, and Nicholas (Shelby) Mirhady; 7 great-grandchildren, and his brother Don (Joanne) Popham.

Roy was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was dedicated to his Lord and Saviour and was passionate about the outdoors, especially canoeing, hiking, and exploring old mines, and was happy to tinker on projects and stay active.

Special thanks to his caregivers; Chauntel, Dani, Bea, Lana, and Carol. There will be a family Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North Okanagan Hospice Society, 3506 – 27^th Avenue, Vernon BC.
