In Loving Memory

Nels Robert Carlson was born in Penticton BC on August 23^rd, 1948. Nels will always be remembered as a loving husband, son, brother, and uncle. He was a great listener, intelligent and incredibly fun or funny – depending on the situation. Curious about the world with an open heart and mind. He cared deeply about his family and friends and was thoughtful and kind.

He worked as a professional Geologist his entire career with many achievements and accomplishments. He loved being outside and tending the garden. Most recently, Nels took up sailing. He had so many outdoor interests… he loved fishing, hiking, skiing, golfing, swimming, running and he developed a passion for tennis.

Nels will forever be missed by his wife Debbie, sister and brother in-law Elvy and Eric. Also left to cherish his memory are his nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lotten Gunborg and Robert Gunner Carlson and his siblings, Margit Irene, Larry, and Lenny.
