With heavy hearts and great sadness, the family of Ron Miciuk announce his passing, at the age of 84 years.

Ron will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 54 years, Heather, their Son, Ronnie Miciuk (Tanya) of Lake Country, Grandson Regan, Granddaughter Brooklyn, along with numerous Nephews, Nieces, extended family members and friends.

Ron was born in Chisholm, Alberta, moved to Clearwater, BC and then to the Vernon/Coldstream area where he called home.

Ron was a Pressman by Trade and worked for Vernon News and Kelowna Courier when he retired at the age of 70.  Ron was also busy on their five-acre farm where he continued to grow an assortment of fruit and tend to his honey bees.

Ron was an avid outdoorsman who genuinely loved nature. He played baseball for the Vernon Carlings, coached youth baseball in Vernon, coached Karate and was a second-degree Black Belt.

Ron touched the lives of so many with his large presence and big heart!  He was genuine, kind, smart and loved.  He was a role model to many and will be forever missed.

The Miciuk family extends their sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who offered support and who wonderfully cared for Ron.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 2^nd from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Farm (9242 Kalamalka Road) ~ in the spectacularly beautiful setting that he loved so dearly.  We invite you to come and share your memories of Ron with everyone.
