Final phase of multi-use path gets underway

Motorists should expect traffic disruptions on Silver Star Road starting today (June 12) as phase two of the multi-use pathway is scheduled to get underway.
The city says detours and single-lane traffic will be required during construction hours which will generally be from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekdays.
To minimize disruptions to drivers, Silver Star Road will be open to north and south bound lane traffic on evenings and weekends.
The section between BX School and Pleasant Valley Road is expected to be completed by early October.
