Helicopter used for gazebo installation, traffic impacted

Residents in the Middleton Mountain area may notice helicopter activity this week which is connected to a community project.

There will also be some impact to traffic.

The District of Coldstream is installing a new gazebo at McKergow Meadows from April 17 to May 4.

“During this time, a helicopter will be used to airlift steel beams and concrete up to the site,” Trevor Seibel, district CAO, said.

Minor traffic interruptions are expected as shown below.

Residents are asked to find alternative routes. Access to homes will not be blocked.
